The delivery of the Matrices in compliance with your direction of yesterday's date, being completed, I believe, my duties as Master of the Mint of Hong Kong.
Under the circumstances, I have, however, to request that the Crown Agents may be authorised to issue the pay due to me from the 5th September 1865 up to the present date, inclusive,
as well as the year's salary provided for under date 23 November 1863. Deducting
